Many dogs find it unpleasant when grooming procedures such as removing a tick, drying their paws, administering eye or ear drops, or brushing or clipping their coat are carried out on them. Some dogs react defensively, others become agitated, whilst others simply endure the procedure quietly. In this course, we will develop strategies to help dogs cope with potentially unpleasant procedures and to ensure these tasks can be carried out cooperatively.
This is a progressive course and, where possible, you should attend all the lessons.
